Lulu

Meet Lulu, a dainty and elegant Lurcher, possibly a Whippet x Saluki, standing just 21 inches to the shoulder and weighing 15kg. At around 18 months to 2 years old, she is a quiet and slightly timid girl, but beneath that shyness, there's a cheeky little Saluki princess waiting to shine once she feels safe and secure.

Lulu is clean in the house as long as she’s taken out regularly, though she hasn’t quite learned to ask to go out yet. She prefers not to go into the garden alone, but with time and patience, she’ll gain confidence.

She cannot be an only dog, as she dislikes being left alone, but she can happily be left for a few hours with canine companionship. A home with a calm, confident dog—especially a smaller breed, as she adores them—would be ideal. While she enjoys her own space during the day, she prefers to sleep near her humans at night and will cry if left downstairs.

Lulu isn’t a fan of crates and may become distressed if confined in one alone. However, she is well-behaved when given free rein in the house and loves snuggling on the sofa or bed. She is non-destructive, doesn’t chew, and shows no resource guarding, though she may help herself to unattended food!

She has attended training classes, knows basic commands like ‘sit,’ ‘lie down,’ and ‘wait,’ and has excellent recall. Lulu enjoys car rides, is confident in cafes and busy areas, and walks well on the lead. While she is generally calm when greeting people and dogs, she can be wary of large, boisterous dogs. She likely has a high prey drive, so care is needed when letting her off-lead.
